I saw a similar design for woodspirit on a book cover, and wanted try it. From my sanding experience with the little bear, i decided to leave it like that, and all the following carvings unsanded. I like if wood carvings show the traces of tools. This is again linden, oiled. Its interesting to see how different the pieces become, despite same finishing.
