a project which took very much time, but i am quite happy how it turned out... it is a side panel for a book shelf i have, and measures 1.80cm high, 30cm wide and only 18mm deep. it is carved from pine as a pierced relief and finished with clear briwax. the design is based on the very beautiful drawings alphonse mucha did, and my aim was to bring the lightness, freshness of his drawings into my carving, without copying his design.
