a (rather) quick and hurried project, but i am glad to say i am happy i could make it in time with the quality i wished... the rose is carved from one piece of linden, about double of lifesize, and meant just for decorate the living room of my mother in law, who received this rose at the party for her 80th birthday.... the finish is a clear finish, a few layers of matte varnish followed by wax,,,the choice was made o the rose fits into the new surroundings...
